Rochester Framing & Fine Art Printing is a full-service art partner and a Master Certified Picture Framer. We are hard-working Minnesotans and we are proud of our creative skills as both custom picture framers and fine-art printers. We take industry education seriously and we are active in several professional organizations. Our goal is to build a long-term relationship with our customers. This trust is earned and can only happen over time. And we always take time to have fun (Bully Pulpit), because having fun is also important.

John has a history within the creative and technology communities with a particular focus on start-up opportunities.

He has a degree in mechanical engineering and has been a registered Minnesota Professional Engineer since 1985.

He is past President of Red Wing Innovation Incubator and Red Wing Downtown Main Street, Inc. and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council (2014 – present) and represents Ward Two on the Red Wing City Council (2017-2021).

Clare Lorraine
Lead Production/Designer

Clare swears a lot, but she balances it with reading and writing poetry. She holds dual degrees in computer programming and business management, and her creative background includes professional photography, graphic design, and digital arts. Legend has it that Clare has extra cones in her eyes allowing her to see color like no other.

Clare began her apprenticeship in professional framing in 2012.

Customer Liaison

Pi is a purebred standard collie who was born on 3-14-16. Her shop expertise includes greeting customers, watching cars go by, chewing on moulding samples, and impressing everyone with her fantastic manners and tricks.

Pi is sassy and sharp and ready to take your custom framing or printing order. (In her mouth though, so please don’t pass Pi the artwork.)

Custom Framing

Red Wing Framing & Fine Art Printing is Minnesota’s only Master Certified Picture Framer (MCPF). We are experts at museum-level custom framing and design.

Fine Art Printing

Large format art printing is a nuance between technology and art.  It involves accurate reproduction and extremely stable prints on a variety of media.

Our clients include corporate HQ, the hospitality industry, health care projects, and more.  These are great applications for our large format printing service and numerous framing options.

If it is important to you, it is important to us. We have framed priceless family heirlooms and understand how to treat sensitive art objects. We are serious about being Master Framers.
